I came across this looking for a light mystery. Well I started reading this book and so could not put it down. I feel like I want to have a little talk with Nate. I love supposedly bad boy/good guy Dom Cappicola. The characters in this book just come alive, especially the twins Ella and Marie. The people are so like some of my family, I would think she, Lawrence was in my town. The plus is the crafty hints. I saw there is a new book out by lawrence I will be buying that to see what Dom Nate and Breanna are up to.

If I can't get past the first 5 pages in a book/story/novel, it didn't catch my attention... Eula Martin

This is the first novel in a cozy series set in a vintage paper store in Morse Point, MA. Brenna Miller has left Boston behind to live in this quaint town and work for an old college friend, Tenley Morse. As a former art gallery specialist, she finds a creative outlet in doing decoupage classes for Tenley's store. Before you know it, the mayor winds up dead and Brenna sets about trying to find enough evidence to point the police away from her reclusive landlord, Nate. This mystery had great characters, a good story and some interesting craft tips for decoupage sprinkled throughout the book. I will definitely follow Brenna on other adventures.
