Stuff Good Guitar Players Should Know

This is a good "beginners" book, but if you have been around guitars and associated equipment for any length of time, you will find a good deal of the material to be repeats of what you already know.

With that said, there are gems buried throughout the text that are worth digging for. Each reader will find items that they may not have realized, from the simple through the obvious and beyond.

In short, look the book over in the store, if you find answers to questions you didn't know you had, buy it! That's why I did.

    good for beginners

This book has quite a few articles. Ranging from why there are "x's" in tab and notation to restringing. It covers the different styles of music and the different sounding guitars. You may not need every article right now, but I find myself constantly grabbing for this book when I have a question about guitars. I have found it to be very helpful.
