Subject Nightingale, Volume 1: Birth and Death
She doesn't remember anything prior to waking up in that Research and Development laboratory; not how she came to be secured below such a menacing apparatus, not why the entire building is in the grips of a violent siege, not even where she could go if she manages to survive it. That scientist called her Subject Nightingale. Is that her name? Escaping this place-they're calling it the Lab-is just the first step. Born amidst chaos and combat, can Nightingale come to terms with whatever those scientists did to her, while also learning how to live? -- The first installment of a science fiction/action-drama trilogy, Subject Nightingale, Volume 1 is a novel of approximately 75,000 words.

About the Author

Tim Cody was born in Delaware, where he lived his first twenty-three years. He is an avid believer that nobody's perfect for everyone, but everybody's perfect for someone. He has heard about Pluto, and he agrees that it's messed up. He will not respond to the name "Arthur."

He enjoys video games, movies, and comic books. In addition to books, he's been known to write for video games, tabletop games, and card games from time to time.

He's not entirely sure he should have included the word "games" so many times in that last sentence, but here we are.
