About the Author

Sam McManus (1976- ) was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and he spent the first 21 years of his life in the city of brotherly love. He has written over 50 short stories, over 200 poems, and several novels. Subjects is his second published collection of poetry. He also maintains a daily blog where he shares his thoughts and possible future novel material and poetry. While he is a writer first and foremost, he is also an English teacher, an aspiring singer, a former tennis coach, and an eclectic lover of all music. These days he can be found in upstate New York with his wife of 11 years, and his two young children.
