    Superb technical manual.

I recommend that the reader purchase the SECOND EDITION, which is simply excellent. The second edition is much more thorough and complete to include areas the first does not cover like takedowns, counters, reversals, repositioning, and striking from every position known to man. And don't forget the legion of submissions from leg locks, arm bars, shoulder cranks, foot locks, and choke holds. This book answers the mail for both the beginner and the more advanced (like myself). You won't be disappointed, I wasn't.

    The second edition is superb!

This is the second edition of Submission Fighting Techniques and it is excellent. This edition covers stand up fighting, takedowns, counters, and groundfighting in depth. Submissions from arm bars and shoulder cranks to knee bars and heel hooks are addressed throughout. Also, striking from every position is covered such as punches and elbows, knees and kicks. This edition is much more complete than the first one with defenses, reversals, and repositioning. The most complete manual I have seen out there...at 320 pages, a lot of book for the price.

    Well done, thorough, detailed.

This book addressed a lot of material with excellent pictures. This is a well balanced work covering every aspect of full contact fighting including boxing techniques, take downs and striking and submissions of every variety. An excellent reference manual for anyone interested in grappling and realistic fighting.

    I wish I could give 6 stars.

Buy this book!!! It's loaded with over 250 techniques that are broken down so even a beginer can use them. If you don't want some life story or history lesson, this is the book for you! I've been in submission fighting for 4 years and even I learned something new.

    Submission Fighting Techniques

I am very happy with my purchase of this new work on submission fighting. There are hundreds of techniques from scores of positions...just what I was looking for. There is no idle talk, no boring history of the author, or wasted space. The entire book describes submission moves and nothing else. I have purchased the works of other more famous/well known authors, and this is better than most of them. Buy this book on its technical merits...you'll be as satisfied as I am.
