A little antiquated but not bad for the beginner

At first glance the book contains several out-dated ideas such as familiarizing oneself with air-raid drills. The requirements for being a sub and pay scales listed are also a bit outdated. What is beneficial, however, is that the book is geared more toward K-6 subsitute teaching and provides several methods for keeping the childrens' attention. This includes everything from outside games to rainy-day activities. Overall scores: Activities: A General Sub assistance: B- Sub specifics: C
