I read this book from cover to cover the same day that I purchased it. It is such an easy read. I must say that the book contains such practical ways to be in touch with your child in general. I am a single mother of a male child and had to watch and sometimes reach out to fathers raising sons to help me through the difficult transistions that were taking place in my own sons' life. I only wish that this book was written many years ago for me but, I encourage single mothers to have this book in their library and reference it regulary if your son is young, often if they are young adults and periodically if they are grown but still comes to you for advice. I am grateful for the relationship that I have with my now, grown son and still reference the book when we have certain discussions. Finally, I will say that the book is not only for males but is practical for children in general. It is also evident that his sons respect him not only as their Father and Pastor but as a Man in general. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I have read the book and I really enjoyed it and would like to see young men in their early teens to start reading something like this. To know what that can do and that there is hope. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
