Overview

Do you want success in life, or ruin? What do you hope for, for what do you yearn? Do you want peace, financial independence, the good regard of your community, of people in general? Do you want a sound mind and to be able to make up your mind, make the right decisions and stick to them? Do you not want to seek truth and find it? Do you want peace?

It would seem to be a given that most people would seek those things. It would seem obvious that they are desirable and that most people would be willing to do whatever was necessary to give themselves the opportunity to receive them, but is that really true? Most people do seek these things and all too many are coming either empty or sadly lacking because they seek them ineffectively due to incorrect training and instruction. Some have even given up all hope. Do you not want to know in your heart that you are a person of honor and integrity?

While the pursuit of fame, fortune, power, sex, drugs, even food, or other titillating (for the moment) things thrill for the moment, such things never satisfy. They always leave a craving for more, for the next fix to again take the mind off the fact that those who seek pleasure to sustain themselves have a massive hole in their hearts and lives.

Take an open mind into the reading of this book. Forget your past thoughts and limitations. Take no counsel of your fears. In each man and woman’s heart, mind and spirit is the power to achieve success and fulfillment in life, regardless of your start, or where you find yourself at the present moment in time. Take no thought of the station of your birth, your past failures or the situation you find yourself in.

I am talking about having financial, and social success, but even more than that. I am talking about your mind, soul and spirit becoming a well spring of life that emits health, vitality and soundness of health that people are drawn to and want to be around. I am talking about thoughts, actions and patterns of behavior that bring peace to yourself and those that will heed your words.
In your thoughts and actions you hold the power of what your next present and future life will become. Your church alone doesn’t hold it, your family or acquaintances don’t hold it, even your God may not hold it. Certainly neither does the Government hold that power for you. I do not discount that all of them may have shaped your life until now. I do not discount that they might hold influence over you at this moment and even into the future. They might (any and all) have helped you to survive to this point, but have they brought you fulfillment? Have they brought you peace? I am simply saying that they can hold an inappropriate and damaging influence or even power over you (with the exception of the true God, he doesn’t hold power over you for a different reason) if you cede that power to them.

By now I have your attention. Some may have begun to suspect that I am a heretic or a lunatic bent on mischief. My intentions are neither. I am not suggesting that all that you hold to be true, or that you rely at this moment is false, unreliable or irrelevant. What I am suggesting is that if you aren’t at a place of contentment, prosperity and health in every aspect of your being, something is lacking, something is amiss.

What am I suggesting, what am I offering as an alternative? I am offering you first freedom, and secondly, soundness of mind. From that point you can develop your own prosperity in every aspect of your physical realm, soul and spirit.

I do not offer you three points and a poem. I do not offer you a recipe that if you follow it precisely will yield positive results every time. What I offer you is the truth and a focus on how to pursue that truth in your own life and to find inspiration even in those moments where others fail.
