Su historia está llena de recuerdos, añoranzas, planes que nunca resultaron como se deseaban, y otros que se llegaron a alcanzar. Luchas que asomaron cuando nunca fueron pedidas ni solicitadas, y lágrimas que tampoco fueron rogadas.
Ella conoce al hombre de toda su vida y a los dos años se casan. En el año 1946, acabando la Segunda Guerra Mundial y comenzando la históricamente llamada Guerra Fría entre los campos Socialista y Capitalista, bajo gran tensión y en un área muy volátil; su esposo marcha como joven soldado a la Península Coreana apenas cinco dias después de casados para no volver a verse ambos por más de veinticuatro meses. Años más tarde otra tragedia se les avecinaba sin saberlo, su único hijo nace prematuro y le queman sus ojitos en una incubadora del hospital dejándolo totalmente ciego para el resto de su vida...

Meet the Author

Alejandro Roque: Author, Translator and Publisher, was born in Havana, Cuba; and since 1994 he left for political exile in the United States, where he eventually became naturalized; and in later years has been devoted to his writings and books, including his love of nature and outdoor activities. An early ex-military jet pilot in the Soviet Union and Cuban Air Forces; here he graduated with a Master of Science (MS) at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), and with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU); both in U.S.A.
