Sugar Cane is 'sweet' to the last drop!!

I started reading this book late one night and just could not put it down. The story is well told with characters we can all identify with on some level and most importanlty they are BELIEVABLE. Sugar Cane a 'must read'

    'Sweet' Rasta Sex Comedy...

I just bought this book off a whim, and I must say that I was a bit surprised that I ended up liking the story this much. Sugar Cane is a simple story about the conflict that develops when a devout Rasta Man and aspiring reggae musician goes to live in a tenement yard in rural Jamaica and ends up in a 'sweet and sexy' romance with the wife of his neighbor. I found it to be quite engrossing and very funny as well. It kind of reminds me of the Jacob Miller reggae song 'Tenement Yard'. It was a delightful read and the reader learns a few things about the island of Jamaica along the way. I definitely recommend it.
