Anyone interested in the intimate history of hip-hop in the 90s needs to read this book to make their knowledge complete. Brown examines not only the events that occured surrounding Death Row Records, but the relationships, such as the legendary friendship between Suge and Tupac, that weathered the storm. This is a dramatic and intense narrative, full of intimate anecdotes and biographical details of these pop culture legends. And there's some nice photos, too.
Jake Brown weaved a web of interest and intrigue when penning this nonfiction masterpiece. Come one and all...you won't know what you're missing..until the last copy is gone.
