    Disturbing

I'm sorry but I found absolutely no point to this book. Due to the fact that the father exhibited mental instability from the very start, I very much expected him to commit suicide and leave the 13 year old boy to survive on his own in the Alaskan wilderness. I didn't, for one minute, expect the child to suddenly blow his own brains out and found absolutely no reason for it. He was troubled by his father's instability but seemed to be a healthy, well balanced kid. I would not recommend this book for anyone is easily disturbed.

Totally disturbing, do not waste your time!

The first part is interesting, then the story becomes completely disturbing with no warning. It is poorly written, the characters are not well described, which makes the plot even more disturbing. There is a graphic description of a pointless death and lengthy descriptions of a decomposing corpse. What was the point of writting such a story? If you have that type of garbage in your brain, please keep it there - trust me, there is absolutely no need to share!
