Lilywolf (On Computer)

Lilywolf lies in the middle of the thunderpath, everything that has just happened replaying in her dreams. While outwardly her exhaustion prevents movement, inwardly there is only torment. Suddenly a roar sounds from all around her and cracking open her ice blue eyes she finds herself staring up at the belly of a monster. With a yowl she leaps to her paws as it passes and finds her feet can barely support her. Somehow the monsters have been passing over her without attacking. In panic she dives from the middle of the thunderpath into a nearby ditch. Shuddering from her near death experience, she bows her head as all her emotions come baring down on her. It feels like she really has been hit by a monster. Sobs ripple through her and tears stream from her eyes as she faces the truth. Goldenstar is gone. A heart breaking wail rises up inside her and she lets it out, all her pain gone into one sound. The tabby does not know what to do. Cautiously she takes a step in the direction Goldenstar was taken and is instantly met with his voice. "Horseclan is relying on you… We can’t think about each other.... Go home!" Lilywolf flattens her ears, not wanting to listen. All she wants is Goldenstar. But what will happen to Horseclan? Her heart tearing apart the deputy, she thinks back to the last time she left Horseclan. The tabby had become so lost in her grief that it cost her everything. Fortunately Velvetstar had been there to ensure Horseclan survived but in the end the sun had destroy the lily. Now Horseclan is nearly defeated by the twolegs and there is no one back home to save them. No one but Lilywolf. The shecat thinks of all the faces she loves and her family, cringing at the thought of simply abandoning them. But it is Fang that seals her decision. He had left without a word and granite his reasons for leaving were insane but if Lilywolf were to leave Horseclan now she would be doing the same. And she vowed never to cause that kind of pain again. Having made the hardest decision of her life Lilywolf chokes back her emotions and whispers, "I'm sorry my love." ~ Lilywolf
