Summary of Christian Doctrineby Louis Berkhof
Similar to the author's Manual of Christian Doctrine, this volume offers a simpler and briefer presentation of Christian doctrine geared especially to high school students. Of all the systematic theology, and doctrinal books I've seen. this work is my favorite. It is brief, easy to read and follow. My copy is very worn and has much scribbled notes in it. I'm getting another copy!
Be warned that this is an outdated version that does not include chapters 23 to 30; it costs more and is simply not complete. Get the one with the plain gray cover. I'm not sure if it is a B&N issue or if it is just an earlier version before Berkhof added the later chapters.
