    I'm Ready For The Movie!

An excellent book. It took me right back to my childhood out on Eastern Long Island. I understand a movie is in the works and I can't wait. This book had some of the best written dialogue I have ever read. Outstanding!

Escape Back to A Magical Time

I grew up on Long Island just outside of NY City back in the 50's and 60's. My parents found a wonderful hamlet on the eastern end of the Island, near Sag Harbor and the Hamptons, where we proceeded to spend every summer for 14 years. Those were wonderful times. Imagine my surprise when I picked up Summer At Sea Shell Harbor and was transported back to those times. Richard Dunne captured that magical slice of time - a time of milk shakes, baseball on the radio, meeting 'the gang' at the beach, new-found loves - and wrapped it all in a great story line. Whether you lived that story or not, this book is a great read - one of those books you don't want to put down. I recommend it to everyone.
