This is a fantastic collection of book that's just in time for summer reading. Each book in the collection is a great read and written by a different author. These are all new stories that have not been previously published and any one of them alone is worth more than the price of the collection. If you like sexy romance/romantic suspense, you will love this book. If you haven't read anything by these talented ladies, you owe it to yourself to check out this book.

Loved all the stories in this box set. You really can't go wrong with any one of the stories, and to get 16 for such a great price? I highly recommend picking up this set and having a fan and a glass of ice water ready because they are hot.

I have not read all of these stories yet. Kathy Ivan - Sex, Lies, and Apple Pies Slade is a master chef, investigating on the side. When confronted with his past, things take a turn for the better. He looks forward to working with Wendy. Wendy is a professional baker, and happy to see Slade again. Can the time apart work for them and bring them back together? Can they survive the mystery happening in the baking competition? Kathy Ivan has a way of describing things so clearly, you feel like you are really there. Loved this book!

3.5 stars I have several of the By the Sea books in my TBR shelf. Too many books, too little time. I think this story may jump start me to finally get going on them. It's a sweet friends-to-lovers easy to read story. Not too long, not too short, sun, sand and a hunky ex-cop. Both characters are dealing with mistakes from their past. Looking forward to the rest of the anthology! I received an ARC of Festival by the Sea by author Traci Hall.

Protecting Her Pigg by Melissa Keir....5 star read for me. I absolutely loved this story it was filled with arson, fire, mystery and some romance. The characters were well developed and I enjoyed watching the story unfold between Lily and Lucus. I am looking forward to reading more book by Melissa Keir. If all the stories are as good as this one, you for sure want this box set at the great price. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Sex, Lies and Apple Pies by Kathy Ivan....5 star read for me. What a great entertaining novella. The story had wonderful characters, mystery, suspense, and romance, always makes for a great read. Kathy Ivan is at the top of my author list and she never disappoints. I highly recommend this box set, if only for these two stories. I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.

I've read Bad Boys For Hire: Ken, by Rachelle Ayala in this set. What a fun read! This is a fast-moving story that includes characters who had minor parts in Bad Boys For Hire: Ryker. It can be read as a standalone. Ken is the perfect guy! Really, I don't know any woman who wouldn't want to take this hunk home. Sweet, considerate, devoted to his injured sister, and all around swoony. Not to say he doesn't have his flaws or make mistakes, but really, those should be forgiven. LOL Jolie is a fun character. With her list of problems, allergies, and general difficulties in what would be easy situations for many of us, I though it was fun to see her grow and change throughout the story as she struggled to overcome her fears and obsessions. These two sizzle on the page and the chemistry is definitely there. However, they each have issues. While they want to fall head first into love, those problems make reality different than they hope. I started out reading a chapter a night, but had to go for a marathon and finish it in the wee hours of the morning after chapter 4. The descriptions of Hawaii were great as well and make me want to visit and go rappelling down a waterfall!

Bad Boys For Hire: Ken is a deeply moving and intensely raw journey of learning to truly accept every part of yourself. If you don’t love yourself, you will never believe that anyone else can ever honestly love you. Wisdom may come with age, but that doesn’t mean that it gets any easier to find reasons to love yourself when you have been clearly shown just how deeply flawed and perfectly unworthy you are of the mark set before you. No matter how powerful and genuine the love of another is, it will never be able to penetrate your heart if you refuse to believe that you are loveable. If you aren’t careful, you can slowly tear your world apart with uncontrolled doubt and baseless guilt. The best we can do is to learn to let go and accept the realization that we were created to be perfectly imperfect. Only One is perfect, and His love is the only thing that can make you perfect. Jolie was forced to endure the worst thing possible on her wedding day. Not only was her fiancé missing, but he had cheated on her with a stripper from his bachelor party. To add insult to injury, she found her wedding itself falling apart just like her relationship with her ex. Digging deep, she pasted on a fake smile and chose to face and thank each of those who attended her ceremony for their support and love. Falling apart just like her dream wedding was not an option, so she waited until she could do it in later in private. In an attempt to cheer her up and prove to her that there was still come good in this world, her friends hired an escort name Ken to show her a good time on her honeymoon. He was determined to show her a good time after the pain and humiliation that Jolie was forced to endure. Would the romantic atmosphere and mysterious charm of the Islands cloud their better judgment, or would they discover more than either of them bargained for? Ken and Jolie both fascinated me for very different reasons. While Jolie’s circumstances are very different from anything I have ever had to endure, I can completely identify with how she felt about measuring up short to those around her. That’s an easy thing to identify with when you have been raised being told that you just aren’t good enough. It’s hard to go through life knowing you are different through no true fault of your own. Life just seems to throw more blessing and advantages to some and not others. Ken’s inner struggle wasn’t about recognition since his outward transformation but about learning that while he could make his intentions known, it was up the other person as to whether they wanted what he had to offer. He had to learn what truly loving another person meant. While vulnerably and sacrifices hurt, in the end they will without a doubt bring you the greatest rewards. I never fail to fall hopelessly in love with a story carefully and lovingly crafted by Rachelle Ayala. Her masterful talent never fails to astound and amaze me. This is one author that you don’t want to miss out on! Her heart is what draws me to her and keeps me coming back for more. She can tenderly touch and heal the raw parts of your heart, and show you that it really is ok to be you. We just need to strive to become a better version of who we are each and every day.

So far I was fortunate to read two of the books in this series. Summer Lovin' by Jacquie Biggar This is a sweet story about Rebecca and Mitch, a separated couple, who married in Vegas secretly on a whim and are living in the same town. Even though it was years prior they never signed divorce papers. One day after Rebecca comes out of the school where she works she encounters a young boy who she ends up assisting. The boy's guardian shows up and has a confrontation with Rebecca until Mitch steps in to rescue her. Up until this point they had managed to avoid each other. They are concerned for the welfare of the boy. Can they make sure this boy is safe and are the sparks between Rebecca and Mitch still there? * I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review Festival By The Sea by Traci Hall This novella features Darcy the younger sister of Dax the Surf Shop owner. She had been away at school and now has a degree in marine biology. While she is home visiting she runs into Al, a friend of Dax. Darcy had a crush on Al in the past and her feelings haven't changed but how about his. * I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

So far, I have read Sex, Lies and Apple Pie by Kathy Ivan. It is such a cute read I could not put it down. The story line has mystery, secrets and hot steamy sexual chemistry. The characters have great interactions and Slade and Wendy have a unique connections as they work to solve the mystery. Great read, don't miss out! Gifted a copy for an honest review.

So far, I've read only Michele Hauf's THE GEEK GETS THE GIRL, but it is so good, I rate the whole box set a 5-star read, because only this book is worth the cost! I'm sure the others are just as good! Rachel Parker, whose job is in marketing, is in Paris and because of problems in the local branch of Haute Heels is now acting as manager. The computer systems are in dire needs of upgrades, but it seems a certain Zac will be taking care of that. Zac is not at all the type of guy who usually gets her hot, but there is a certain je ne sais quoi to the nerd, oops! sorry, Zac the geek! However, Zac is more than the IT person; he is in fact the CEO and he is incognito to see what ails the Paris branch of Haute Heels. He only looks like the proverbial geek because his baggage got lost and he has to make do with his spare glasses and some cheap clothes. Zac is more than intrigued by Rachel, who seems to be coming on to him. THE GEEK GETS THE GIRL is a delicious case of partially mistaken identity, and it is positively gorgeously written. Who could resist delights such as “office ephemera”! Ms. Hauf’s writing is so eloquent, I could easily picture Parisian flair, French chic and I could clearly see Zac and Rachel. There was a lot of chemistry between Zac and Rachel, and I loved them both so much. They feel real, they are so engaging, and Rachel is a take-charge kind of woman for real, and Zac is just wonderful, and such a welcome change from all those controlling, dominant, domineering leads that are just about everywhere. THE GEEK GETS THE GIRL is such a refreshing book; such great characters are rare, their behaviour remains consistent throughout, every situation is perfectly handled; THE GEEK GETS THE GIRL is a most excellent book, don’t miss it! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
