Meet the Author

Barbara Morgenroth has loved horses her entire life and has had many of the same experiences Nicki and Wynne had. While she did get caught in a thunderstorm with her pal, Karen, no pony followed her over the outside course. That was another poor, terrified girl at a 4-H show. There isn't a rider alive who hasn't had adventures on horseback that would turn a parent's hair white---provided they were ever told ;-).

Barbara had a long career in traditional publishing as well as television before the advent of digital publishing. She started in juvenile literature, did a couple cookbooks, a YA series, a book on knitting and a romance novel, so all that was very entertaining but nothing has been better than the total freedom of epublishing offers.

    Very good book for all horse and adventure lovers

    For all girls who love horses

    I read this with my granddaughter shortly after she came to visit and attended horse camp here. I loved that she recognized parts of the horses anatomy and tack while reading the story. It helped connect her to the story. I found the book fun and touching.

    Its a good book

    Its a great book :) you will have fun reading it but make sure to read Canterwood Crest its the best book ever!!! Perfectt for horse lovers
