The Summer of the Green Star Westminster Press, © 1981, 127 pp.,$5.81 By Robert C. Lee ISBN o-664-32681-1 David Mason, a teenager that lives in Eagle Lake, has just finished his last day at high school. While on a canoe trip with his friends Mark, Rick, and Nate, Rick steps on a piece of glass. Adrienne and Mary Willis take care of Rick¿s cut; they put something on his foot that heals the cut so quickly that people begin to become very suspicious. One day while David is at the coffee shop, people are talking about the Willis family. The town electrician says, ¿They have no electric bill, but at night they have lights on. And they own no generator.¿ Curious, David follows Adrienne and her family up the mountain and finds something out that changes his life. The Summer of a Green Star is an outstanding book that grabs your attention. I couldn¿t put the book down. I would recommend this book to teens and anyone who likes mystery novels. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
