    Newly Refreshing, Instantly Comforting

Every track takes me on a journey of escape to somewhere nicer and more peaceful. Before I got this album, I hadn't heard of most of the artists. Now, they are some of my favorites: Loney, Dear, Rufus Wainwright and I particularly love the Sara B/Sonos track! I definitely have my ears peeled for more from this intriguing collective. Great compilation - a lovely soundtrack to a lovely day.

    Thanks for the new music

I really love this cd. I picked it up 2 weeks ago in St Louis and have to say it's my favorite so far this year. I saw Norah Jones, Renee Stahl, and Nickel Creek, and thought perhaps some of the other artists on the cd I'd like too. It did indeed turn out that way. The Sara Bareilles song is SO lovely. And little did I know that "She's Spanish, I'm American" is Josh Rouse and his Spanish girlfriend. This is a welcome addition to my music collection. I'll be buying Vol 2 to get my hands on those songs as well. It looks like another fabulous lineup.

    Fantastic compilation, beautiful tunes!

Remember the thrill of getting a fantastic mix tape on cassette from a music-savvy friend? Some familiar voices, some new sounds but always consistently excellent? That's what I felt like when I first listened to this excellent compilation. I've always loved music, but since having kids, it's so hard to hear new stuff. I've been a big fan of Patty Griffin and Rufus Wainwright for a while, but they've got great tracks on here I hadn't heard. And David Condos - what a discovery! I can't stop listening to his I WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT YOU. I bought Sunday Music for a friend's birthday and have since bought 2 more as gifts. Definitely worth checking out.

    Not just for Sundays...

My wife and I have been listening to both volumes of this fine CD every weekend. In fact, they haven't left the CD player since we got them. From the dreamy cover of Roxy Music's "More Than This" by Norah Jones and Charlie Hunter that opens the CDs to the peaceful, uplifting songs from Mindy Smith, Sara Bareilles & Sonos, Richard & Teddy Thompson, ex-Eastmountainsouth singer Peter Bradley Adams, Peter Gabriel, Patty Griffin, Renee Stahl and Michael Brook, to name but a few, these two CDs are top-shelf all the way. We knew some of these songs previously, but even the ones that we didn't know are perfectly suited for this collection. Listening to the SundayMusic CDs with the newspaper and a cup of hot coffee really is a great way to while away the morning.

    Back to Muzak

This CD holds the music of some of my favorite artists but, as a collection, it is incredibly boring.
