I read this book to my daughters (6 and 8) as a bedtime book and they both really enjoyed it. It's short enough to be read by an early reader and would be especially enjoyed by girls who like fairy stories. There are B&W illustrations on nearly every page. The story is simple with just a little tension. This is the third in a series (Ruby is first I believe) and the premise is that two little girls must find all 7 rainbow fairies and return them to a pot of gold. It's not great literature, but it's sweet fun and a good way to get beginning readers reading on their own.

These were some of my favorite books as a child. They were amazing and quick. They were also entertaining at that age. Each book is around 80 pages, so it won't take that long to get through. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
