Meet the Author

Jill Hernandez is the author of two Alzheimer's activity books, SUNSHINE AND JOY'S BIG BOOK OF ALZHEIMER'S ACTIVITIES, VOLUMES 1 & 2.

Jill's experience with Alzheimer's comes from caring for her mother. Over an 11-year period, Jill's mother progressed from a state of mild confusion to her current condition of being able to respond with only a few words. To keep her mother an active participant in life, Jill developed a series of verbal activities in which participation, rather than accuracy, is the primary goal.

Jill's activity books have received an enthusiastic response from the Alzheimer's community. The books contain a large quantity and variety of conversational activities that are stimulating and entertaining to PALs (People with Alzheimer's) and caregivers alike.

Jill lives with her husband and mother in Bedford, Texas.
