Within the first 3 days of owning this book, I made 4 of the recipes and discovered that Ms. Swanson is a true artist in the kitchen! Each dish was easy to prepare, tasted great and looked beautiful on the plate. Even the meat lovers in my household were satisfied with the hearty yet healthy dishes offered in this book. The quality of the paper used, the beautiful photographs and the well written prose explaining each recipe make this a wonderful cookbook for gift giving.

I absolutely LOVE this cookbook and could making anything in it hundreds of times and not get bored! It's great for vegetarians but also a good break for meat-eaters. All the recipes are healthy and nutritious! I recommend this cookbook to everyone!

Wanted to love this book. Particularly it being a James Beard winner. I tried quite a few recipes - as in nearly 10. One was fantastic and the other 9 were decent. I expected much more for my money and for the praise this book received.
