Yum. Finally invested in a good blender that could crush ice well. Now I have frozen fruits and vegetables (I finally meet my daily requirements) ready to make quick and filling smoothies. Super for winter fruits often lacking in sweetness. If diabetic or weight conscious, may prefer to add Stevia sweetner (always consult w/ your doctor first)instead of other sweeteners in recipes. Great ways to add tofu, nuts, and yogert into your diet. Introduction lists the benefits of adding various ingredients. Have found that drinking my breakfasts has even helped me loose 20 pounds! I have been making my own smoothies for a short time now and was interested in learning new recipes after seeing the authors on TV. I liked the overall look of the book but was disappointed in the number of recipes compared to other smoothie books. Also, I wanted more information about adding natural herbs, vitamins and non-dairy products but didn't find that in this book.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
