Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
PreS-Gr 2—Henry is not doing very well at Superhero School. All the other kids have special abilities, such as flying or invisibility, but his only talent is in being the class clown. While popular with his classmates, he worries that he doesn't have what it takes to fight villains. His fears are abated when the school is attacked by a giant blue monster. All the other children try call upon their special powers but to no avail. Henry is able to use his wits and pull the ultimate prank on the monster to defeat it. Unfortunately, the narrative is occasionally stilted, with the sentences ending abruptly in places. However, the story is clever and kids will appreciate that Henry's skills are needed. Goossens's illustrations are bright and inviting. An appealing storytime choice.—Mary Cass Mabbot, Indianapolis Public Library
