    Great looking reintroduction to Kara!

Jeph Loeb and the late Michael Turner collaborated and gave us one of the best looking and non-confusing Supergirl tale. Loeb, who has always understood DC continuity gives a fresh comic book realistic take on Kara and Kal's lineage. The addition of Amazonians and Darkseid along with Big Barda was great. I always enjoy seeing the alternating inner monologues by Bruce and Clark. The art was stunning. Overall, a fantastic read.

Jeph Loed and Michael Turner blew my mind

In the aftermath of Public Enemies, it is discovered that a space ship was with in the kryptonite asteroid holding the teenage cousin of Superman. Her name is kara Zor-El. While Superman is overwhelmed with joy of no longer being the last kryptonian, Batman has his doubts. This amazing read also includes the characters: wonder woman, darkseid, and granny goodness. Jeph Loeb's writing with Michael Turner's art makes this book a must read for fans of the dark knight and the man of steel

    Great artwork and story

I really enjoyed Mike Turners artwork in this volume, its classic! The fact that it was a story on supergirls' origin in a Superman/Batman series was merely icing on the cake! Writing style was nothing fancy but its definately a comic worth having if you're into Turner or supergirl.

    I Also Recommend:

    A second of many greats

This second installment in the Superman/Batman series from DC lives up to the excitement of the first, if not exceeding it. The author again does a great job relating the inner feeling of both Batman and Superman in a way that makes them relate able and realistic, and shows the deep relational understanding between the two characters, which is essential for the series. The art is stunning and will leave you wanting more.

    Gives me 'Warm and Fuzzies'

Loeb never ceases to amaze me when it comes to his deep story telling. just like Superman For All Seasons, this is a piece that sometimes brings a tear to my eye. I liked this way more than 'Public Enemies'. If you are currently watching season seven of 'Smallville' then you have to pick this up.

    Interesting Plot and Great Art

This story is sensational and puts an interesting light on the friendship between Batman and Superman. I usually don't read Supergirl comics because I feel they sometimes lack a good plot and character development. Yet, as I read this book I began to see Supergirl in a new light, and the art and storyline within it is fantastic. I particularly like Batman and Darkside's exchange and negotiation. Darkside is also put into a deeper understanding, and other characters seen throughout the DC universe are included within the plot. I truly recomend this book. I liked it almost as much as I liked Public Enemies, the first in this series.

    Mike Turner is AMAZING!!!

This is a great story! I've always loved the mythos behind Supergirl and to have Jeph Loeb bring her back was a real treat. But the biggest lure of this book, besides great story telling, is the amazing artwork provided by Mike Turner! His distinctive style has become a trademark of the comics industry. His renderings of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl are amazing. READ THIS BOOK!!!

    Classic Supergirl Returns!

Author Jeph Loeb and his amazing team did a fantastic job of bringing back the forever popular, classic, original Supergirl/Kara Zor-el to the 21st century! She's Superman's little cousin! If WB network reads this, I hope it will do a spinoff of Smallville featuring young Supergirl/Kara Zor-el and get Jeph Loeb and his team to oversee the writing and production of the episodes. He's such a great, gifted writer and storyteller here and his team of illustrators did an outstanding job with the pictures. I even hope this comic book becomes a movie in the future!
