The best book I've read so far this year. A troubled romance between two mega superheroes in the DC universe there is so much that could have gone wrong but the creative team behind this series are right on target. Wonder Woman is deeper and more well rounded than she's been in years. Maternal, intuative, femanine and looking so good doing it all she truly is a wonder among women. Superman goes through various whiny guy troubles and doubts before his girl straightens him out and he gets to doing what he does best - taking all you got before kicking your ass. And this is were the creative team really excells - in combining action and romance. There are no wasrted panels here and the scene were Zod - the baddie - opens up the phantom zone as Superman tries to stop while an unseen Wonder Woman works through her own insecurities via thought panels is the comic book craftat it's best. It's worth buying this book just for that sequence alone but there are many others. A must buy read for everyone - people who don't like superheroes, people who do like superheroes and all the flavors in between add this to your collection; you will not be disappointed.

Best Superman and Wonder Woman book on the shelves! Superman kicks Apollo's ass and we get to see the New 52 Zod for the first time. Who could want more? Oh...okay. Zod breaks his girlfriend out of the Phantom Zone to conquer the Earth! If you've never liked or picked up a Superman or Wonder Woman book before, you will still like this one!
