It wasn't bad but at points it didn't feel like it was actually bobby telling the story

I had high hopes for this novel because Rebecca Dessertine has written for the tv series. I have not been disappointed. It's detail is awesome and reads like the show. If you are fan, I highly recommend as a fill in and if your not...well then I think you'll enjoy it anyway. The description in the book endears you to the characters, even if you are not familiar with them to begin with.

Loved this book. I'm a huge fan of the show. I hadalways wished the TV show had given up more info on Bobby Singer's past. I enjoyed reading about him and his early years as a hunter. Great book!

This is an awesome book. The only pitfall is Sharon the Angel is actually a Knight of hell on the tv series. I mentioned this on the Facebook page, and was told the books were "loosely" based on the show. Kinda made me question it after the One Year Gone novel. Otherwise a great read!!

Didn't give a good idea as to what time WITHIN the TV series this takes place, but hopefully if you read it you've made it through several entire seasons. Wouldn't want any spoilers now, would we?
