A passionate proposal for intelligent transportation-- high-speed wheeled or magnetic levitation trains. Uranich is rarely shrill; he is occasionally repetitive. His case is powerful. The feds do toady up to the filthy air and road lobbies (who have the finest congress money can buy). Trains offer the most productive enhancement of US infrastructure, they are a bargain relative to roads and airports, and promise diminished oil imports (and the concomitant export of dollars).
