Overview

What Is the Key to Living without Fear?

As you look ahead to tomorrow, it is hard not to worry--about financial pressures, family issues, problems at work and so much more. You may even feel helpless as worry threatens to drain your life of joy.

But there is good news.

"We must keep trusting God, even when the world looks out of control, knowing that He is in charge and will take care of every situation that worries us."

Bestselling author Kent Crockett explains how God can guide you, even now, along His chosen path, without your realizing it--from the circumstances you face to the people you meet--to accomplish His plan. Crockett reveals the two necessities that enable you to face the future without fear: believing that God is in control and learning to let Him guide you. The Sure Cure for Worry helps you to do both so you can live one day at a time, release your problems to God and live life to the fullest.

"The book you are holding in your hands will show how you can trust God and how to keep from worrying."
--George Foreman, former two-time world heavyweight boxing champion

"If you want to get rid of your worry, you need to read this book. It is unlikely you will ever read the very important information in this book anywhere else."
--Peter Lord, bestselling author, Hearing God

"Kent is a man of great passion for God, a man who administers spiritual life support to those entrusted to him. He lives what he writes."
--Jean Krisle Blasi, founder and president, Kingdom Craftsman Ministries; author, Prophetic Fishing

"The book is straightforward, well written, and touches at the center of curing anxiety in a pastoral way."--CBA Retailers+Resources

This book is a great, detailed plan to defeat worry. Every worrier needs to read this book!
In this book  Kent does not deny the  many opportunities we all have for worry. But he builds a firm
foundation for  trusting and having faith in the invisible God by providing proofs that He is much more
reliable than our  worries. God is not just faithful in fulfilling all the prophesies in the scripture. He is
vitally interested in providing the needs of all those who are willing to be obedient and place their faith in
Him. The many ways God can speak to us and provides for us are presented to make it easier for
every believer to be able to pray with expectancy knowing that God is no respecter of persons. What He
does for one, He will do for all who believe and rest in Him.

The title, “ The Sure Cure for Worry” might suggest this book is only for the worriers. It is for anyone who believes God plays a role in his or her life.

There is plenty of food for thought for those of us who have learned, as Mark Twain wrote, “ most of what we worry about never happens.”

There is chapter on Divine Appointments. In my life I have frequently been the beneficiary of such appointments. I have
read this chapter three times already. Not because of doubt, but
because each time I have read it past coincidences have come to
mind. Reminders of how much God is involved in my life and the
    lives of others.

In part two, there is a chapter on “where did that thought come from.” Another full course meal to digest.

As some reviewers have suggested, it covers some basic Christian teachings that many are already grounded in. For me
it was like someone serving me a basic meal (such as steak & baked potato) but prepared a bit different from the steakhouse
approach. Different can wake up the taste buds.

For those who believe in value received for money spent, you
won’t be disappointed. Worrier or non-worrier, this is a book
    worth you time and money.

Thanks Chosen books for honoring my request to review this book and sending it free of charge.
The author does an excellence job explaining how trusting God makes our lives easier and our burdens lighter. Allowing God to take control of our lives is the solution to all our problems. God will give us what we need in His timing, which can be very discouraging, however, as the author states, God uses delay to test our faith. If we want a worry free life, we have to trust Him to do what’s best for us. God has a purpose for our lives and He understands what we are experiencing. The author mentioned, God does not reveal His plan all at once but as a scroll that is unrolled a little at the time. Living a worry free life requires surrendering control and this book explains the process. We have to not only be obedient to God but also deny ourselves. God has to have full control. We burden ourselves unnecessarily when all we have to do is cast our cares to the Lord. This book offers great advice on living a worry free life. The title speaks for itself and there is so much more between the covers.

Kent Crockett explains how trusting in God, giving Him control and listening to His guidance results in a worry-free life.

What is most interesting is that the first two sections of the book don't discuss worrying at all. Instead, Crockett makes a logical, sensible case for God as an all-powerful creator who knows everything - everything that has happened and everything that will happen. Furthermore, He is a loving God that can meet all our needs. If we hold those ideas as facts, we have nothing to worry about.

This is a great book! I love all the verses Crockett shares, reassuring readers of God's love and provision in our lives. Crockett does an excellent job explaining and providing examples of God's leadership in the lives of those who follow Him. It makes so much sense that if you hold on to the truths from the Bible - there really is nothing to worry about because God will provide.

This is a book to be savored. I read very quickly, but I spent two days on this book because it was so good. I read a section and then chewed it over and enjoyed the truths put forth. This is one of those books that I will let my friends borrow, but will want back so I can read it again.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who struggles with stress or worry in their lives. However, this book would also be great for new believers who are learning about God or any believers who need a reminder of God's works.

I received a free copy of this book from Chosen Publishers in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
