Marvelous! Here you meet the wonderfully complex man Lewis really was. In love with books and ideas, he was the product of a passionate Welshman father, and a cool, aristocratic mother. A quirky, fascinating, readable autobiography.

Overlooked and under read, I found this to be a gift from the author to his readers. I laughed out loud on more than one occasion. I especially enjoyed a few paragraphs about his nursery years and the reflections about his Father.
