Crept to the tree. He looked up into the branches and saw nothing, so he climbed up into it. A soft chirping caught his ears as he reached about mid-tree, so he stopped. It sounded like a nest of birds was being attacked. Glosslight smiled and went higher. He cane to the nest and saw that it was a small nest of robins. A very late birthed nest of robins. Standing above the nest, was a chubby rat. It hadn't yet started eating the chicks, but instead was picking them up by the feet and dangling them, listening to their screams. Glosslight lined up and pounced on the rat, giving it a nip to the back of the head to silence it. Then he quickly killed each of the three babies and dropped them down to the ground. He purred. "I might need some help carrying these!"
She tracked a thrush, and attempted to catch it. It flew away. She huffed. "Well, a vole is better than nothing." She picked it up and started back to camp.
Troted up the hill to camp and spotted a sparrow pecking at some seeds. Silent as a mouse he jumped on the bird and anpfter many faildd attempts fit it in his mouth and went back to camp
Here is a hreat place to hunt! A slight incline makes it easy to sneek down on prey, as long as you don't trip. Trees dapple the hill, and soft undergrowth muffles your pawsteps. Over the edge of the hill, a another hill slopes down to the base of a slow, lazy river.
