You do not want to miss this book. It is without a doubt one of the best Indie books I have ever read. The storyline of two totally opposite type people crashing in the Canadian Wilderness in winter is a wonderful setting for a beautiful and thoughtful story. Add to all of that the faith that made it possible to survive some of the harshest conditions and you have a movie just waiting to happen. I cannot praise this book enough and there is no way you can know just how good the book is until you read it for yourself. I read the Kindle version and have now sent the paperback version to my Mother. This is a book that you can not keep to yourself.

Survival At Starvation Lake, August 21, 2010 By Rosalie Jole (Orlando, FL) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) This review is from: Survival at Starvation Lake (Paperback) You will want to re-read this book again and again. I loved it. I am an avid reader of romance novels and usually do not read suspense. Survival at Starvation Lake is the story of the survivors of a plane crash. It is possible for two people from extremely different backgrounds to live together in the harsh wilderness of northern Canada,in harmony until they are rescued? The book touches on some precise traumatic issues, and a few humorous and romantic ones. Mr. Hansen weaves together events that keep us from putting the book down. He writes with style and class. I am looking forward to reading more of Mr. Hansens books.
