Meet the Author

Dan Keller is the president and owner of Lifeletics Sports Instruction in Huntington Beach, California. A lifelong student of the game of baseball, with a particular interest in pitching, he started Lifeletics in 2001 and has built it into a household brand providing world-class fundamental training with an emphasis on positive character development and the life lessons learned through athletics.

Keller experienced athletic success from youth baseball through the collegiate ranks and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 1995. Since 2000 he has worked as a private pitching instructor for youth league and professional athletes. His team coaching resume includes work with competitive youth teams and teams at all levels of high school play.

Keller’s work has been featured extensively in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, Junior Baseball Magazine, and several online publications. He’s also a frequent instructor for a number of youth clinics. In his free time he enjoys staying active by hiking and playing basketball, softball, and golf. Keller lives in California with his wife, Erin.

    A Must Have For ALL Coaches

    The Survival Guide for Coaching Youth Baseball is a must have for coaches and parents at all levels of baseball. Dan Keller provides the knowledge to immediately create an incredible baseball experience for players of all ages and ability levels. I am a Special Education teacher, high school coach, and parent of a 10 year old athlete so I have a very critical eye on coaching methods and instructional techniques. Dan is "hands-down" the most talented coach I have seen work with baseball players and consider it a privilege to have access to him in person. For those that do not, this book lays out the blueprint for success in re-creating what Dan has refined over thousands of hours of lessons and clinics. I have implemented Dan's coaching methodologies with my Little League, Pony, and Travelball teams and have maintained a winning average regardless of the "talent" of the squad. In short, Dan Keller has figured out how to create a baseball program that produces winning results, engages the "whole" athlete, and creates a true love for the game of baseball.

    Like Free Lessons From a Pro!

    When it comes to offering high-level youth baseball instruction, Dan is the best around. So if you aren't blessed enough to live near his athletic facilities in Orange County, California, consider this like top-notch lessons for free (almost). The book offers a simple, pointed and straightforward breakdown of what is necessary to coach youth baseball with real success. Dan knows his stuff - these are fundamental mechanics that help the novice to the higher level youth athlete. What's offered here are immediately applicable, take-to-the-field techniques that will help a coach move every one of his youth athletes to the next level. This book is a must-have for any Little League, Pony, or travel ball coach.
