A MUST HAVE FOR ALL WOMEN WITH A.D.H.D

At the age of 40 I was finely given a reason WHY I was ...well to say the least Different from others. Growing up I really had no friends, as people seem to find me....diffrent.My grades were awful, I was depressed, bored and well...Different...As I was saying at the beginning, I know the reason now for my difference and it's ADHD! As I soon found out. While Medications are a God send that's only a wee bit of the problem for me. I was never organized, and to try and do so was like having some one tell me how to build a rocket ship! So in my seemly endless quest for self help and knowledge I stumbled on this wonderful book! It's packed full of helps, hints and story's form Fellow A.D.D'S as well as funny storys. It also is filled with helpful advice from A.D.D Coaches! It's a fun read and yea you can read more then one paragraph at a time and not have to read it over again! Really I feel the money is well spent on this book. Be sure to bring your highlighter out so you will not forget the hints and tips in the book!,,,,now if I can only find where I put the book!!!!

Some good suggestions, nothing really new

This is a pretty good compilation of suggestions if you haven't spent much time looking for tips yourself. I read the book once, added a couple tips to my repetoire, and re-sold the book as used. Not really the reference I was looking for. Maybe it would be more helpful for women with families. Worth looking through though.

Finally! Useful information for women with ADHD

This book provides us with useful tips for managing life with ADHD. Terry Matlen is to be commended for compiling such a useful, helpful book! I am still reading it but have found many work-arounds that I can use in my own life. I wasn't diagnosed until recently and this book is helping me make sense of what I've been fighting with and for, for most of my life.
