THIS BOOK IS RECOMMENDED INDEED. IT WAS ALITTLE SLOW TAKING OFF FOR ME, BUT ONCE IT GOT GOING IT STARTED TO HEAT UP. THE ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE ABOUT THIS BOOK, WAS THAT WHY DID TORY THE MAIN CHARACTER HAVE TO SLEEP WITH EVERY MAN SHE BECAME INVOLVED WITH? YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN A MAN OR MATE AND STICK TO THAT. IF SOMEONE COMES ALONG NOT MEETING THOSE REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THAT PERSON. LET'S GET IT TOGETHER.

The first book I ever read by this author, and I never laughed so much while reading. A very real look at dating and girlfriends. I loved it and was sorry when I finished it. They became my girlfriends. I can't wait to read more of her books.

This book is extraordinary in every way. It is everything that a woman and her female friends go through with men and how they cope with change. I love the way the African-American women were all professional and had it together. This book is outstanding!!!

GOOD BOOK FROM START TO FINISH. THE CHARACTERS WERE FUNNY AND HIP AND LIKABLE. I THOUGHT TORY WAS FOR REAL WITH HER GOAL OF GETTING HERSELF A MAN BUT I WAS GLAD ALSO THAT SHE LEARNED TO OVERCOME HER OVER-ANXIOUSNESS. WHEN SHE GOT CAUGHT UP WITH SHARON AND THE PREACHER, THAT WAS REAL FUNNY AND GINA'S ANGER WITH HER HUSBAND'S COLOR CHOICE IN FEMALES WAS FUNNY AND SAD TOO. IN THE END, I ENJOYED THIS PARTICULAR BOOK AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.

Tory Coleman, the main character, is a wonderful character alright. She'll do anything to get a man. I loved it! It was one of the funniest books in memory. McClain-Watson is one of those writers who has the black life down pat! I loved this book.
