Carrying a firearm for self-defense is a huge responsibility. Surviving the Street attempts to help the armed citizen with that burden. Written by a career street cop, the book covers topics that include:
Richard L. Johnson is a law enforcement officer, police trainer and firearms instructor. More importantly, he is a father, husband and proud American. Starting in 1997 with a small police department in the Atlanta area, Richard has spent the majority of his law enforcement career on the street training rookie police officers.
Richard enjoys training police officers, but derives his greatest enjoyment in the training of armed citizens who do not wear a badge.
Richard currently lives in central Florida where he works as a police officer with a medium-sized urban department.
