Meet the Author

Paul A. Hansen, Ph.D. is a therapist (now retired) who worked as a therapist with survivors of sexual abuse for twenty five years. He is also a partner of a survivor and a survivor himself. He wrote this book after going through the painful struggles of healing wounds of sexual abuse in his marriage and wished to share his knowledge and lessons learned with people at large. His wife is a survivor. In the midst of writing this book he discovered that he too is a survivor of child sexual abuse, which threw additional dynamics into their recovery. He and his wife have survived those challenges for 32 years of their marriage. They hope that anyone reading the book will find their own story there and be able to grow too. The book was first published in 1991 in paperback and now has been revised for eReaders. Visit his website () for more information.
