Overview

This ebooklet is a pattern for making a feminine and delicate double crochet scarfette with a rose embellishment. The rose is a pattern which is both simple and natural in appearance; it is worked in the round, with several ruffled petals layered upon one another. Paired with the soft and fast-to-make scarfette, it becomes a piece of crochet adornment which is both feminine and bold! You will use sc, dc, decr dc, chain and slip-stich, and the materials you'll need include a size G (4.25 mm) aluminum crochet hook for the rose, a size J (6.0 mm) aluminum crochet hook for the scarfette, and either a lightweight baby yarn or a medium/worsted weight soft yarn for both projects. The scarfette will measure approximately 50" long by 2" wide, and the rose will be approximately 3" to 3.5" across.
