Overview

Sometimes the hardest war to fight is the one raging within yourself.

Life will never be the same for Nariella Woodlinn. Just when she thought she had it all figured out, her world comes crumbling down around her-yet again. With no idea who she is or even where she came from, how can she save herself?
She once thought her biggest problems were the ones brought on by the mysterious man she refused to fall in love with--Mycah. But she quickly discovers none of that compares to what she is about to encounter next.
This time, it isn't because of who Mycah is.
This time, it's because of who she is.
~
Naminé risked everything to save her people. Her goal was to bring their only hope back to their Kingdom. Forced to do his bidding, can she prevent the downfall of the only hope she worked so hard to bring home? Will she be able to escape with her life and mind intact?

Overall this book was breathtaking, exceptional, vibrant and gut wrenching...Her description of the other world is truly captivating, you are able to shut your eyes and picture the scene on the page as if you were truly standing there.

The whole story progresses in a beautiful flow and I found myself falling in love with all of them even more....The twists and turns leave my heart aching!...The story keeps you going, keeps you entertained, intertwined, and wanting to break down because of all the crap they all have to deal with. I really have no doubt that book 3 is just as wonderful!

I am so enthralled with the creative, innovative, alluring world that Bailey has built. She composes such a beautiful scenery with her seductive words. Drawing you in to that world, surrounding you with images as you read her written words. This is the sign of a talented writer.

Fabulous detail in this book brings the character's fantasy world to life. I fell more in love with the characters with every turn of the page.

A fabulous continuation of the Sweet series by Bailey Ardisone!

A fabulous continuation of the Sweet series by Bailey Ardisone! The story picks right up where Sweet Oblivion ends, but where book one is set mainly in modern day Earth, book two is primarily in an alternate fantasy world full of griffins, phoenixes and dragons galore. The attention to detail is breathtaking, and the conclusion had me rushing to my Kindle store to purchase book three. The only thing I think would make it better is if there was a small amount of re-hashing of events that happened in book one. I remembered most of the events, but not all - and since the events just kept building on top of each other, it took me a little bit to remember all of the background details. This book is perfectly appropriate for readers 15+.(less)

The first book of this series was so amazing, I immediately bought and read this book as soon as I finished. And I was not disappointed at all!

The world building in this book was phenomenal and described so well I felt like I was actually there. It's a shame it's not a "real" place that I can hop on a plane to visit for vacation. Instead, I'll simply read this book again and enjoy the time to get to spend there.

I fell in love with the characters in the first book, and I fell deeper in love with them with this story. Unique personalities, emotions, tension, romance - ahh! Simply wonderful.

I wish I could write a more professional sounding review, but even after weeks of thinking about how to explain how amazing this book is, I just can't do more than "You HAVE to read it because this book is FANTASTIC!" I'm hooked on this series and I can't wait for the third book.

This series is something that I'll read over and over and over again and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great story telling. You won't regret it!
