Having set a high standard in the realm of country productions with a hip-hop edge, the sisters Osborn -- Kassidy, Kelsi, and Kristyn who co-wrote all of the album's dozen songs -- and their producer, Dann Huff, have taken a hard left on the road back to contemporary country simplicity. Which is to say that Sweet Right Here has its share of snarling rock guitars check out the wicked six-string assault on the fevered "Love Goes On", but there's also an ample supply of acoustic guitars, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, pedal steel, and straight-ahead rhythms that would fit right in at most modern-day honky-tonks. All of this acts as the perfect backdrop for the sisters' sweet, unadorned vocals, their sibling harmonies sounding fresh and dynamic with minimal overdubbing. Check out the way the ladies' tender voices mesh in poignant, Fleetwoods-style harmony on the wrenching "Come Home Soon," a widow's heart-tugging confession of life on her own. It doesn't get simpler than "Without a Sound," a wispy pop ballad outlining abject loneliness in the wake of a torturous breakup, with Kristyn's aching vocal framed almost solely by acoustic piano. On the up-tempo side, the infectious, lusty "360° of You" is like the Brill Building gone country, with its buoyant tempo, cooing choruses, and expressions of youthful hormonal upheaval supported by swirls of pedal steel, jangly guitars, bluesy harmonica punctuations, and pounding drums. Kristyn's lyrics demonstrate a mature understanding of love in both its ecstatic and damaged states, and the sisters effectively drive the point home with their voices. Adventurous on its own terms and brimming with heart and soul, Sweet Right Here is a real keeper in a catalogue growing rich in memorable music.
All Music Guide - Johnny Loftus
SHeDAISY's third official full-length is a product crafted finer than Waterford crystal. Like anything at the macro end of the gleaming Hat City sweatband, there's a heapin' helping of puffy filler. However, the harmonizing Osborn sisters have quite a bit of charm, and Sweet Right Here does showcase some fine songwriting from Kristyn. Led by the strong first single "Passenger Seat" full of evocative lines like "Vinyl seat soft from the heat of the sun", the album is a seamless mixture of themes and tempos familiar to the pop-country audience. Throughout, the sisters are a little bit of Dixie Chick sass, a lot of womanly Shania confidence "360º of You" could be an outtake from Come On Over, and quite cognizant of Nashville's success with the lite rock crossover, as the piano ballad "Without a Sound" proves. Is that Kristyn Osborn or Vanessa Williams singing? Collaborations with songwriting pros like Connie Harrington for the aforementioned "Seat" and "360º" and John Shanks the blah missing-you number "Come Home Soon" are nice enough, but it's Kristyn's work with Jason Deere that's the most resonant, retaining that stage-glitter sheen but gaining some purchase with lyrical bite and an adequate appropriation of time for the contributions of Kassidy and Kelsi Osborn. In this contempo country world, it's the details that matter, since the gaggle of studio cats backing you up ain't going to sound that much different on the next songbird's record. Proving that, the Osborns sound great when their harmonies do find a way to the top, and those little lyrical specifics make a whole barrel of difference. "Heard you're moving to Denver," Osborn sings in "Love Goes On," while the slick honky tonk of "Good Together Bucket and Chicken" references dancing outlaw and Appalachian fringe celebrity Jessco White. The latter track also features some nice fiddle work from Jonathan Yudkin. Sweet Right Here's best moment might be "Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing." A sonic cousin to Tim McGraw's "Something Like That," SHeDAISY takes the song's message to heart, loosening up and having a good time instead of sticking mightily to Music City convention. "Ever found your last record in the bargain bin?" they sing, before "blah blah"ing their way through a pre-chorus seriously! and admitting that, behind closed doors, everyone has a little junk in the trunk. Though it settles SHeDAISY even more comfortably in their pillowy Disney via Lyric Street niche, Sweet Right Here does have enough genuine moments to make it the Osborns' own.

    What a disappointment

When I bought this C.D. I was expecting good music. The only two songs worth any thing is Passenger seat and don't worry 'bout a thing. All the other songs are either BORING or from Hicksville U.S.A. If you like what Shedaisy did on the other C.D.s don't buy this one.

    "Must have" for your collection

I bought this album the first week it came out in June and it is still one of the cds in my cd changer. I can't seem to get enough of it. It's one of those albums that there's not just one or two great songs on it. This album is full of great songs. Such a variety of songs, too: some great ballads, fun uptempo, songs that make you think, songs that make you just want to sing along, ect. I love this album and it's one that I've recommended to all my friends & family. This group, SHeDAISY, sing so beautifully together and have some of the best voices out there. It's a "must have" for your cd collection.

    Another Great CD from Shedaisy

All I have to say is this is a great CD!! The first time I heard it I was totally amazed(and I still am!) The first single Passenger Seat sets the tone for what is the girls best CD yet. The songs are catchy, and for the most part very much country. Come Home Soon is a great slow song written by Kristyn to the heroes left behind waiting for their loved ones. Good Together should be the girls first #1 single if they release it, and there are several more sure top 10 hits on this CD. A must own not only for fans of Shedaisy, but fans of country music in general.

    Sweet Right Here--Sweet album

I purchased Sweet Right Here the day it came out. I was not disappointed. "Passenger Seat" is a fun song to listen to while driving. "Come Home Soon" is a wonderful song about the war-spouses left behind while loved ones are out to war.. "Good Together(Bucket and Chicken)" is a great song to have a hoedown too. "360 Degrees of You" is a song about girls checking out hot guys. The album is beautifully done with every song written or co-written by Kristyn Osborn, one of the three sisters in the group.

    Great music, great songs!

Shedaisy does it again with this album! On their fourth album, the girl's in SheDaisy prove to play awesome music. Every song could be a hit. The writing, vocals, and production are top on the line, and they work out great! This album will hopefully take SheDaisy to the top on the charts. They are extremely talented and deserve to be heard. Check out this album if you haven't heard it!

    This Really IS SWEET!

This is a GREAT effort by SHeDAISY. The harmonies are even MORE beautiful than the photos of the girls! Seriously, after the disappointing radio reaction to Knock On The Sky (their BRILLIANT sophomore effort) I was concerned that there might NOT be a third album. But, the girls returned with a more "radio friendly" sound on a CD FILLED TO THE BRIM with (still) GREAT songs!. The CD is a mix of interesting lyrics, "pop" sounds and haunting ballads...ALL delivered with their trademark FRESH, Country style. Comparisons abound to that "other" Country "girl group"....but, there really IS no comparisson....SHeDAISY is the TOTAL package, and has the talent to continue to bring us FRESH new MUSIC, for years and years and years....PLUS...they are JUST PLAIN GOOD FOLKS !!!

    Sweet Right Here by SHeDAISY

SHeDAISY's latest album, Sweet Right Here, shows that Kristyn, Kelsi and Kassidy get better with each album. Their harmonies are amazing and are showcased well throughout each song. In my opinion, Kristyn's songwriting is superb and allows the listener to identify with and feel the emotion that the song is portraying. This album is a must have for any music fan.

    Shedaisy Newest is definately SWEET!

This newest effort from today's hit country trio Shedaisy definately lives up to its title of being sweet. The songs are for the most part up beat. Definately toe tappers. You'll find yourself singing at the top of your lung along with this trio. Warining: This release can cause uncontrollable smiling. There are a few serious songs on the CD that will definately produce some tears. "Come Home Soon" is their newest single of this CD and it definately will hit home with the current situation of are arm forces being over seas. You can't go wrong with this CD. Purchase it, pop it in you CD player and take a journey with these talented ladies!

    Crazy for Shedaisy!!!

While they are steering away from the much love-themed "Knock on the Sky", Shedaisy does it again. With songs about being happy, to not caring, to loving someone, they hit every note on the dime. Another plus to this album is that next to the extremeley vocally talented Kassidy Osbourne (seriously!! shes a power house!!), the amazing lyrics were written by another sister, Krysten Osbourne, who understands how to put melodies and harmonies together that catch your ear and get your toe tapping, not to mention lyrics about real life to go with the songs. So, in conclusion, Shedaisy's "Sweet Right Here" is definately 'sweet right here' in my album collection! Great Work, girls!
