Fantastic contemporary romance about secrets, love, mistakes, growing up no matter your age, and forgiveness. This is Jamison and Maddie's story and it was amazing! Not only have I found a new author but also several fabulous series written by her.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Every visit to Summerville, GA, makes me smile wider than the last, and 'Sweet To You,' Maddie's and Jamison's story, is no different. I'm a big fan of books where characters take the leap from being friends to lovers. Following Maddie and Jamison as they move from the 'friend zone' to more is both touching and hilarious, by turns. They are just sweet together.
The added bonus of getting to see the progression of the characters from Jessie Evans' other books is lovely. Weddings, babies, fist fights, whiskey, more whiskey; what could be better?
I very much enjoyed, and can highly recommend, 'Sweet to You,' and look forward to 'Perfect For You,' the next book in the 'Fire and Icing' series.

Sometimes you find an author that creates such great characters and storylines that you just can't get enough. Jessie Evans is one of those authors. Each and every book that she writes makes me happy and Sweet to You is no exception.
Maddie Whitehouse and Jamison Hansen have been good friends since childhood. Now they are both in their very early thirties and looking at each other in a brand new light. When they find each other at the same singles camping trip in Myrtle Beach, the sparks ignite and lust takes over. Overtime, their lust evolves into much, much more.
Maddie and Jamison are truly likeable characters that live in the real world. I was able to identify with their pasts and well as their present obstacles because their lives mimic real life. My heart ached for Jamison as his brother shunned him without even listening to his explanation, something I believe we all can relate too. Maddie surrounds herself with good friends that speak the truth, which is what a true friendship should symbolize.
Another good book from Jessie Evans. However, I must mention that I found the use of the word "molest" at the end of the book to be in very poor taste. Most people have a truly negative perception of the word, no matter how many definitions there are to the contrary. Moving on, the sex scenes are hot and the background story is interesting and quick-paced. The Summerville series should not be missed.

Gosh I adored this book! Favorite of the series so far. This is Maddie and Jamison's story and one no one should miss. Almost thirty and alone Maddie just wants to cut loose but long time friend Jamison has ideas of his own. Can he convince her he's not what she thinks? Everyone should grab a copy of this one and find out. Great read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
