    Perfect gift!

I purchased this as a gift for my niece's 2year old son. The lesson learned is as important now as it was when this book was first published: people accomplished more when they work together!

This is a truly outstanding book for children, with a timeless message. I read it to my child - who is not in her mid 30's - and she loved it then. My granddaughter loves it now. So glad to see that it has been re-issued for a new generation. It celebrates a "can do" spirit and shows how much can be accomplished when all work toward a common goal. The art work is as delightful as the story. This is a book to own, cherish and pass down!
