Swiss Army Romance

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide
A solo effort from Chris Carrabba, Swiss Army Romance was essentially acoustic emo. Aside from using an acoustic guitar, however, Carrabba sticks to the usual emo tropes , with personal lyrics that impressionable teenagers would find easy to relate to. His voice is powerful and heartful, and he displays how beautiful an acoustic guitar can sound, but he does brush against the samey sound that many emo artists encounter. What makes Swiss Army Romance stand out are the excellent songs, spotlighted by "Screaming Infidelities" and "Living in Your Letters." ~ Zachary Curd

    i love dashboard !!!!!!!!!

Dashboard Confessionals is my favorite band. The lead singer is a great song writer . his songs have so much meaning to them. he is who inspired me to learn how to play the acoustic gatuar. every song is awesome but living in your letters and the sharp hint of new tears are my faves. this band rocks!!!!!!if you like this cd, you'll love his new one ' places you have come to fear the most '. i never get sick of listening to dashboards music. i've already seen them in concert twice , and i can't wait to see them agian!!!!!!!!!

    Warmth and Chills

It's as if Chris opens his mouth and his heart assalts you. He puts into words the elating flutters and gut-wrenching sobs that you've tried to understand since you became aware of the opposite sex. The acoustic guitar is the perfect medium for such profound yet simple thoughts.

    Amazing

This is ultimately one of the best emo records out there, and for some one to do it all by themselves is amazing. I reccomend this to anyone who has any emotional bone in their body.

    No words come close

I don't even have this CD yet, but I've heard some of the songs, and I have to buy it. ''Tupentine Chaser'' and ''Again I Go Unnoticed'' are so amazing, I can't wait to hear the rest. I can't even describe how amazing this music is.

    ''Make-out Album of the Year''

Clean, simple music that works when you play it solo or with others. Generally low-key acoustics with great lyrics and strong vocals. I've been looking for this album since I heard ''Living in your Letters.''

All I can say is amazing

This all acoustic set, done by one man with some help on back-up vocals, is the best cd I have heard in a long time. This cd is an obvious emotional outlet that is easy for listeners to relate to. I recommend this album to fans of any genre of music. If you can appreciate good music you can appreciate this.
