I cannot believe I am considering a Mac as my next computer. Unbelievable. No way. I must be sick. Maybe old and losing my marbles. Something is definately wrong here. I have used a pc for many years, both at work and at home. Everybody in the office used a pc, except for those strange people who dressed funny in the graphic arts department. Definately a minority in more ways than one. Did they not realize how much better a pc is? Now I am retired. No more equations to solve. No more in-depth statistical reports to prepare. What do I do on the computer? Photoshop. That accounts for about 85 percent of my time, other than checking email and surfing the web. Mac has always excelled at graphics, I am told. So I made a huge mistake. I borrowed my friends MacBook for an evening. Done deal. Hooked. Now I need to do some research. I have always suffered from a huge appetite and analysis paralysis. Research every potential purchase to death! Found this book and liked the format and content. Seemed informative without being boring or overly complex for a pc user. I am glad I bought the book. It has been a big help. Very informative and thought-provoking. Wish me luck.
