“I was now, officially, a real terrorist…”

After losing her husband only months earlier, Allie finds herself the new official face of seers as she fights to prevent the human and seer worlds from exploding into all-out war.

But her husband, Revik, isn’t really gone. Instead he’s transformed into someone she barely knows, and before she can adjust to the change, she discovers they are now on different sides of a war he wants to see play out…a war that he’s ready for, and worse, already fighting. Compromise with him might be impossible, but it also might be the only way she can save him from himself and keep him from killing everyone she loves.

The problem is, the closer she gets to him to understand him, the more his twisted viewpoint begins to make sense to her, until she’s no longer sure whose side she is fighting for…

    Whoa!

Another thrilling ride with an ending you will never see coming. I'm on Book III and can't help but feel as if I've hardly delved into this story; as if, however good, the best may be yet to come in this series!

In this installment we see our protagonist, Alyson, confronted with the violence and brutality of the human-seer war. Thrust into this confusing and never clear-cut reality, she is forced to make a decision between her beliefs and her loyalty to the man - now the man AND the boy - who holds her heart; to maneuver between what is right and what is wrong as the lines grow ever-blurrier around her.

A thrilling read and a cliffhanger if there ever was one. Can't wait to see what happens next!! Kickbutt series!

    more from this reviewer

Another blissful saga in the lives of Allie and Revik

Allie consents to Revik's offer to live with as his mate for 6 months while he suspends ops against humanity. She hopes she'll be able to get to know the "new" Revik, but there are things about him now that are hard to swallow. Still, no matter how much everyone keeps telling Allie that Revik has become a totally different person than he was before, her love for him is still painfully intense.

When Allie uses telekinesis to save Revik's team from an op she's approved of, everything changes, and Allie's starting to question which side they're on (good versus evil).

This is another satisfying, action-packed Allie/Revik adventure from JC Andrijeski that leaves you wanting more. I managed to wait 24 hours before buying book Four. And that was a stretch.

My final word is the same as with the earlier books in the series: Read. This. Book.
