    more from this reviewer

    Almost did not read it.

I hesitated even reading this book. All his others, prior to this, were somehow "fluff." They tried to be Dan Brown, or Steve Berry, or James Rollins, but somehow came out like a "grade school" version. Too simple, too much falling into place "just like that." But this book was more substantial. I find that I want to read his next Templar Book. And prior to this, I swore I'd never buy another one of his books!

    An excellent book to read!!

Mr. Christopher has done it again! Another fun, exciting and hard to put down book. This book is really fun, dramatic, filled with good facts about the Knights Templar. If you really love this guys, the Templars, this book is a MUST. Basically, the author takes you to different places, where you meet the sick Nazis, and the hunt for the templar treasure, which in this case, it is not gold or diamonds, it is the ancient human knowledge hidden away from the Nazis. You will love this book!!

Great reading..it sets the tone for the rest of the Templar series.

I have read all the books in the series to date. Paul Christopher is an easy reading author. He allows the reader to get right into the plot of the story.

Great book & plot.  I'm now on the third one in the series.

Great book & plot.  I'm now on the third one in the series.  But PLEASE leave off with the derogatory comments about Dan Brown & the DaVinci Code!  Don't know why he keeps mentioning it in EVERY book.  Gets old fast.

    An inteesting read...

I used to live in fredonia ny. Everything is decsribed nearly perfectly exxcept the nonexistant medieval history depsrtment. But thompson hall exists and so does the i.m. pei architecture on campus. The village is full of old victorian homes. As an aside the phrase he conquers who conquers himself is the motto of one of the high schools in the area. Reading this book and finding my old home in it was quite the treat!
