    Uplifting Music Across the Board

I'm not young and I received this cd as a gift from my young niece. She loved it and I love it too! So it appeals to all ages, has a menu of stimulating songs that are all different. The news tunes are ones that I want to keep playing over and over again, and the ones that are old songs have a new and different twist to them and they're also appealing.. A great album.<BR/>SGR

Soundtrack for the mundane- It's a good thing!

Too often, I hear people asking others what type of music they enjoy hearing while driving, or getting dressed, or when going to sleep. Most people do not place enough importance on the unimportant...the mundane. A simple jaunt here in London to the market can be an event. This is the perfect CD to add to your iPod, walk up your street, find a nice Merlot, come home, and enjoy the upcoming sunset. The walk, the wine, and the sunset are everyday things until performing in front the backdrop of Pink Martini's music that transforms the mundane into the magnificent.

    Fun

This album is a fun compilation of music for grown-ups which shows off the skills of the musicians and is truly a pleasure to listen to. It's romantic, a converation starter and good for dancing. You can do housework to it, or try to sing along. I haven't tried them all at the same time!
