I generally don't read true crime non-fiction but make an exception for Glenn Wall's book "Sympathy Vote", a book about the murder of Valerie Percy, Sen. Charles Percy's (IL) daughter in the mid-1960s. Very well researched and written; recommended. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Interesting and insightful book on the horrible murder of Valerie Percy almost 50 years ago. Many new facts bring light on the how and why of her murder.
Well written and hard to put down. I was a teenager, living in a close by suburb when it happened and all of us were so sad and shocked by the senseless murder of this beautiful young woman. There is much explaining what really happened that awful morning. Things like that just idin;t happen in the bucolic weathly suburb of Chicago.
A must read crime and mental health story.
