Overview

Audrey Parker’s on her way to the hospital, sick with anxiety. What became of Marcus Durham? Did the police believe his story, or was he arrested for assault? After his best friend Dwayne pays her a visit and makes a stunning revelation, Audrey has to reconsider her options. She returns to work to take her mind off Marcus and confides in her friend, Kevin Terrell, who consoles her with some herbal tea and a little bit of ‘you go, girl’ pep talk. Soon, Audrey finds herself coming to the rescue of another man in front of her coffee shop—an attractive, athletic, commercial airline pilot named Clay McBaine—who’s literally swept off his feet while jogging. Later, a very special delivery at SYMPHONiCity drives Kevin into an absolute frenzy…

another short chapter in the on-going saga of Audrey and Marcus.  while this is an enjoyable story (so far), I wish we could get the whole book at once instead of one chapter every few months.  at least, they are free!
