Very reassuring and refreshing - I was rolling laughing! The author candidly talks about things that are hard to find in other books and relates stories that make you feel understood. The one about passing her plug was hilarious and there's also one about a pink bathing suit that makes you horrified thinking about her embarrassment. I thought I was the only one suffering through some of this and I darn sure don't want to tell other people about it. This book makes you feel so much better, and even if you have none of the ailments, just reading it is so fun. I think the difference with this book is that she doesn't just tell stories to be funny. She gives actual advice. Her language seems "real" like you're actually talking to a friend. And there IS stuff in there that'd I'd never even heard of and she makes it very funny!
